Woodland Waste

The Woodland waste light is a project combining several progressive organisations to achieve an environmentally conscious piece of furniture with an important underlying message. The light was designed for the Eden Project Hotel, in partnership with Tate and Harmer Architects, using waste-streams from Tom Raffield lighting company. Designed to emit a warm hue accentuating the materials’ natural properties, the installation highlights the importance of nature and the value of resources in an ever-modernising society.
