Mexico ‘36 Olympics

An Olympic bid by the Mexican government was proposed to the IOC in 2024 but was withdrawn soon after. This project aims to conceptualise a visual identity for the 2036 Olympic Games in Mexico.

The iconic silhouette of Chicken Itza is used to frame the insignia, with reference to the iconic Mexico 1968 graphic identity using concentric rings.
